Being a Base Church at heart - Mli Ncube

Chris Moore and team.

Thank you so much for your partnership in the gospel in the last year and I bring you greetings from Zimbabwe Africa!

I believe that the Lord has planted you in the nation of Japan and the region for a purpose that is beyond your imagination!

I felt last year as we were praying for your church that you have been placed there as a rescue boat to save those that are drowning due to broken ships.

Mat 16:18, Eph 3:8-12

The world is looking for an authentic church with true gospel and not religious worship.

There are so many people that need to be saved from the pain of bad leadership. There are those that have been in church but are broken because of bad experiences with church not with Jesus Christ, but with people

* We plant churches to bring the broken-hearted and harassed into loving and caring communities

* We plant churches to reflect the heart of Christ Jesus our Lord by proclaiming the good news of the gospel

* We plant churches to reach the sinful world with the message of Hope.

* We plant churches because the church is the only way we can disciple the world for Jesus Christ.

* we plant church because Jesus is coming back for His bride that has made herself ready.

* we plant churches because everything else that we see is as temporary as the scaffolding on the building site, only people have an eternal hope and the church is the true building.

The kind of churches that Jesus is looking for are base churches that are gospel centered and outwardly focused

The base churches are bases by heart and not by size or age.

Our foundations must be strong and Christ centered Ephesians 2:19-20

There 3 main base churches that we see in the book of Acts

Jerusalem Acts 2-7

Antioch Acts 11-14

Ephesus Acts 19

What did these churches have in common?

1. Manifestation of the Holy Spirit’s power- with signs and wonders following the preaching of the gospel of Christ Jesus as Lord! Acts 3, 5:12,16

2. Preaching the gospel of Christ with power and conviction Acts 2:15-38, 22, 37

3. Evidence of God’s grace Acts 11:23

4. Raising and releasing of leaders Acts 6, Act 14

5. Outward focused Acts 13 into other regions

6. Multiracial and multigenerational Act 13:1

7. Welcoming and rehabilitating people for Christ. Acts 11

8. Christ centered and not religious Act 19

9. They Stood against idolatry and the demonic power Act 19:26-28

If we are to make a difference in our communities as the church we need this approach.

Conclusion Rev 19:6-9

4.7 billion people live in your continent Asia Africa has the second largest population of almost 1.35 billion people.

We need to bring people to Jesus and live with a great purpose and a clear vision.

Our statement of faith must be mission focus and love for the people as our motivation.

Touching lives, transforming community by preaching the true gospel of salvation, freedom, graciously living, empowered and preserved by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Getting ourselves ready for the marriage feast of the Lamb

Allowing the power of God to be manifested through us!
